About Me

Hi! My name's Jordan and I'm currently a senior at Rutgers University. I'm majoring in Communications, with a specialization in PR, and I'm minoring in Digital Communication, Information, and Media. This blog is a project for the class "Capstone in DCIM". I'm really excited to discuss how social media influencers are impacting the travel industry!

In addition to this blog, my hobbies include....

1. Seeing my family & friends 

 My family & friends are so important to me! They support me, and they always encourage me to do my best! Hanging out with them always puts me in a good mood. 

 

2. Traveling 

As you probably gathered from this website, I'm very interested in travel! I've always loved exploring new places; however, I officially got the 'travel bug' when I studied abroad in Greece for 3 weeks in the summer of 2017. This trip inspired me to sign up for a semester long study abroad program. This spring of 2019, I'll be studying abroad in Italy! 

 

3.Learning Italian 

Like I mentioned, I'll be studying abroad in Italy this spring. Therefore, I decided to learn some Italian before I leave! In my free time, I love studying the language. Although I'm not great at it, I'm really trying to learn as much as I can before I leave! 

 

4.Running 

I'm really interested in health and fitness! I believe that health and fitness is extremely important.  When I feel great, I preform better in all aspects of my life. I'm more motivated and I have so much more energy. Personally, I love to run. It's a great way to de-stress, and it's free! It gives me time to calm down after a crazy day and it keeps me healthy, without breaking the budget.
